Nibby takes great pride in this vital volunteer effort.

Through various fundraising efforts, members have supported organizations such as St. Anthony’s Hospice, Riverview School, Women & Children’s Shelter, and the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Lodge is currently delivering two bicycles to every public school in Henderson County to promote perfect attendance and the importance of education, and it also provides scholarships to students in the nursing program at Henderson Community College.
In addition to his Masonic service, James previously served as Treasurer of the Smith Mills Volunteer Fire Department. Following its 2025 merger with the Corydon Civil Defense Fire Department, James now serves as Treasurer and a board member of the newly combined department.
Outside of work and volunteer commitments, James discovered a new passion on January 1, 2025. After finding relatives’ headstones in need of care, he began cleaning and repairing them to restore dignity and visibility to their final resting places.
