Nibby Priest, CIC, Principal Agent
Nibby Priest began his insurance career in August 1983 as a part-time employee in his father’s business while attending Henderson Community College. In the fall of 1984 he left Henderson to attend Eastern Kentucky University. In the spring of 1986 Nibby graduated from EKU with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in insurance and a minor in computer information systems. While at EKU, he was a member of the Gamma Iota Sigma honorary fraternity. In May 1986 he returned to work in the family business. On July 1, 1989, Nibby bought an interest in The Computery of Henderson, Inc., a computer consulting company . Nibby worked in both the insurance and the computer business until the spring 1993 when he sold his interest in The Computery to his partner. Nibby is known nationally for his insurance agency automation consulting work with the AGENA Corporation (now known as Vertafore) and National Users of AGENA Systems. He has also worked extensively with Henderson Community College as a part-time instructor in various computer-related classes.

Nibby is a past Chairman and board member for the Henderson County Tourist Commission,
Treasurer of the Ohio Valley Art League and Registrar for the Independent Insurance Agents of Henderson.
Norris O. Priest, CIC, President-Owner
Norris graduated from Hebbardsville High School here in Henderson, Kentucky. After working in the funeral home business and serving in the U.S. Army Reserve (100th Division), he went to work in 1960 with Underwriters Adjusting Company as an adjuster traveling Western Kentucky. In 1968 he joined the Maryland Casualty Company as a staff adjuster and was promoted to Claims Manager of the Owensboro Office, which covered southwestern Indiana and western Kentucky. In August 1974 he became a partner in the Vaughn Insurance Agency Company, which he now owns.
Norris is a graduate of the American Institute Inc., which specializes in insurance and received a Certificate of Law for the Claimsman from the Insurance Institute of America and the Life Underwriting Training Council. In 1981 he received a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation from the Society of Insurance Counselors. He has attended many seminars and institutes relating to insurance over his long insurance career. Norris and his wife Mary Elizabeth have run and operated Henderson Kentucky premier Bed and Breakfast the L&N Bed and Breakfast since 1993.
James T. Roll, CIC, Client Service Agent
James is a life long member of the Henderson community. He started his insurance career in April 1994 for American General Life & Accident as a sales agent and was promoted to sales manager after a year. James came to our agency in January 1997 to work primarily with Personal Lines accounts and now assists Terri Knight with Commercial Lines accounts as well. James received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in May of 2010.
As a member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge # 9, Grand Lodge of Kentucky, James obtained the distinction of Past Master and currently serves as secretary. The Masonic lodge helps those in need. Past fundraisers have raised money for St. Anthony’s Hospice, Riverview School, Women & Children’s Shelter, the Children’s Advocacy Center and they are currently taking bicycles to every public school in Henderson County to promote perfect attendance / education. The Lodge also provides scholarships to Henderson Community College Nursing Program.
James is also a KHSAA certified high school soccer referee. He began refereeing games in 2003 after volunteering as a coach in recreational soccer leagues and enjoys this opportunity to participate in sports that help young people develop into better citizens.
Terri Knight, CISR, Client Service Agent
Terri has been employed by the Vaughn Agency since May 1979. She is a graduate of the Henderson Community College office administration program. Terri obtained her property and casualty insurance license in April 1985. She went on and achieved the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation in May 1991. She is recognized by the Independent Insurance Agents of America. Terri received her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in May of 2010.
Terri has been involved with our Relay for Life team “Insure for a Cure” as a team member since 2002.
Gina Gish, CISR, Client Service Agent
Gina started with Vaughn Insurance Agency in February of 1995. In February 1998 Gina received her ACSR certification and then in May of 1998 she received her property & casualty insurance license.
Gina received her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2006.
Brandon Newcom, Client Service Agent (Life and Health)
Brandon started with Vaughn Insurance Agency in December of 2015. In April 2016 he obtained a Life and Health License. Brandon is very well versed in Kentucky Health Insurance and Affordable Health Care rules and procedures and Medicare. He worked for kynect when it first started as a kynector.
Brandon is a Veteran and served in armed services from 1997 to 2001.
